Homework 8- Peer Critique 1

Overall, I believe the poster is very well done. There's definitely a sense of introspection being shown in the person's eyes. The man in the image gives the impression that he is deep in contemplation about his life. The subtext sentence located at the top of the poster only enhances this impression, saying "It's time to debug his life.", giving some context that the main character is in deep thought because he wants to make a big change in his life. I cannot tell if the rubber ducks are metaphorical or actually important to the plot of the movie.
The title and the font used for the wording in the poster matches well with the other colors in the image. The Colors overall are well done, they do not clash with each other and help to enhance the vibrancy of the image.  The gray and navy blue of the clothing, as well as the aquamarine blue of the ocean water and the yellow font with the red highlight show a good use of combining primary colors. The manipulation of the water with the ducks and the protagonist is nice, it gives the illusion that the person is floating and his body is submerged in water.
The hair of the person seems very disconnected or separated from the overall poster; the blur on the hair is not blending into the poster at all. The blending of the legs is not as clearly defined in the water when compared to the shorts. The forearms in the poster have the same issue, they are too smoothed down to where they don't feel like they are the actual limbs of the man. The limbs do not feel proportionate to the body in the poster; the same goes for the head but it is not as noticeable. This is all only noticeable when one looks closely though, as long as the limbs are given some more mass, the poster will be even better.
