After reading the article, I never really imagined the scale of the beauty-re-imaging industry. In the digital age we live in, it's easy for a wide array of rumors and secrets to leak out; it's just difficult to believe and figure out what rumors are true or false. So it doesn't really surprise me how much actors and celebrities have their photos and films altered to look a certain way that makes them look more rejuvenated and youthful. Technology has advanced to the point where many times you cannot distinguish what's real or fake in a person's image. Hollywood, where actors/actresses work out of, would undoubtedly be the center of this false imaging trend because the majority of actors/actresses livelihood is based on their looks.

What I'm able to take away from The New York Times article "How To Ruin A Great Design" is that sometimes a great design can't be beat, and it works so well over time people could describe it as timeless. As the article discussed the change of London's traffic signs, if someone tries to change a classic design and end up producing one that becomes so distracting it erases the real purpose of the design, that is completely a downright failure; especially for a design regarding public safety, being too distracting could birth severe issues like a traffic accident.
